The Peterborough Estate houses in particular tend to have kept their full floorplan, so they often have more upholstery than a converted maisonette, and we quote per item rather than per room.
My sofa is on the first floor of a maisonette with a narrow staircase. Is that a problem?
No. We run hose from the van up to the flat rather than carrying a machine up a tight Victorian staircase, so a narrow turn at the top makes no practical difference. It is worth mentioning at the booking stage only so we can bring enough hose — the longest runs in Fulham are on the three-storey terraces at the river end.
